Recommendation of the Hellenic National Bioethics Commission – “Mitochondrial Replacement to avoid Mitochondrial Diseases”
The Hellenic National Bioethics Commission issued a Recommendation containing reservations as to the use of mitochondrial DNA due to lack of adequate experimentation. The same Recommendation included a proposal for the legislative definition of the licensing prerequisites for medical units that perform mitochondrial DNA change. Recommendation Source
